GenUrb members hosted two consecutive sessions entitled "September in the City: Rhythms in the Making of Lives and Cities" at the 8th International Conference of Critical Geography (ICCG), held at the National Technical University of Athens in April 2019. The sessions covered gender and urbanization in Cairo, Mumbai, Shanghai, Georgetown, Ibadan, and Ramallah.
