Shanghai CRT Co-hosts HEResearch lecture on Female Labour Participation

The Shanghai City Research Team, in collaboration with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, will host a lecture on April 3rd, 2023 with Dr. Deepshikha Batheja, on female labour participation in India. Held as part of the HEResearch Lecture Series, Dr. Batheja will examine the impact of co-residence with a mother-in-law and father-in-law on female labour participation and autonomy. Dr. Batheja’s analysis incorporates data from the Indian Human Development Survey (IHDS) to capture these relationships, and to advance research on how gender impacts social, economic and health outcomes.
