Dr. Nasya Razavi, GenUrb’s post-doctoral researcher, will teach Urbanization, Gender and the Global South (SOSC 4606) during York University’s S2 term. Running between 28th June and 10th August 2021, the 3-credit course will explore feminist perspectives on gender and urban development, poverty, gender, and racial disparities in cities and global urban policy interventions. It will run under the Urban Studies program, and is also a special topic in the International Development course. For more information, see the poster below.
